SummerPlace Inn Destin FL Hotel

I stayed here five nights right around Thanksgiving 2025. I had a king room with a balcony and it was a nice room. I was disappointed there was no stopper for the bathtub so you could not take it back. I asked for one but never got one. Put the breakfast was good and there was plenty of parking and I like there was an indoor and an outdoor pool and the hot tub.

This was a very fine stay! The highlight was meeting Josie, the woman who helps with the breakfasts. She was so helpful, kind, and nice to talk with. Front desk and management were kind and helpful as well. The room did have a bit of a deodorizer smell but other than that the hotel itself was generally comfy. Overall: fair price, kind staff, good breakfast!

Such a comfortable and cute little hotel! Stayed for 3 nights and loved it. The mattress was so comfortable my neck pain that I normally have was gone all weekend lol easy and free parking, they had an outside pool and hot tub as well as an inside pool which was very warm! The only thing that wasn’t the best was that the water for the shower took at least 30 mins to warm up and even then it was never hot. Just warm enough to shower quickly and be ok. But I won’t let that deter me from staying there again. It was a great price and perfect location to get to anywhere we needed to go! Will be back!

If you are looking for an affordable and convenient location, this is it. They have good breakfast in the morning, but on Sundays they have sausage gravy and biscuits as another option. It was surprisingly very good. They have indoor and outdoor pools, which were nice.

Check-in was nice and smooth. Even with on-going painting as well as construction the hotel was dead quiet all night long and the staff was super friendly. There is a $100 damage deposit but the price of a King Non-Smoking is pretty inexpensive. Hot, steady stream showers and a super comfortable bed that completely passed my blacklight inspection had me fast asleep in no time. There is an indoor pool as well as an outdoor pool but unfortunately I didn't pack my swim trunks for this venture. The view is terrible from the room and I'm sure that when the racetrack opens the noise is probably terrible. As far as my stay, not a single complaint.

Great experience! Good customer service! Breakfast was good. The indoor pool, outdoor pool and hot tub were all working. Only thing could have been better was the elevator was out of service.

This hotel is really beautiful. They take great care of the grounds and the pool is awesome. They keep the indoor pool heated during the ‘winter’ and it’s really comfortable. Rooms are super clean and the beds are really comfortable. The people working here are so friendly and accommodating too. I don’t normally write reviews but wanted to make sure the people here got credit for all the hard work they’re putting in.

Makayla, Ms. Tina, and Ms. Josie are always very welcoming and the main reason why we keep coming back to the hotel. MaKeshia, Tevin, and Shantawn were also just as great. We met them for the first time during this visit. The service is always above and beyond. (Forgive me if I misspelled any names.) The hotel itself is in a great location and the rooms and common areas are clean. Free breakfast is also a nice perk; however, they no longer include individual flavored yogurts or hot chocolate packets, which our son loves. The heated indoor pool in addition to the hot tub (which wasn't working this visit) and outdoor pool are what make it a no brainer for us, especially in the colder winter months. We highly recommend staying at this property and we look forward to our next visit! Thanks again for everything!
